Temporary Position

Machine Assembly Mechanic

Skill sets required:

Mechanical:

●  Strong mechanical aptitude

●  Light machining experience including drilling, tapping, and milling work. May set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

●  Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.

●  Installs special functional and structural parts and mechanical devices using hand tools.

●  Experience with intricate and precise assembly work. Lubricates and cleans parts.

●  Ability to interpret assembly and parts drawings and understand mechanical functions of parts and components

●  Ability to work with minimum supervision, work well with others, and be team player

Electrical:

●  General knowledge of machine wiring (AC, DC, 3-phase) power supplies. Knowledge of wiring motors, emergency stop circuits, relays and general machine electrical / mechanical components is helpful.

Working Environment:

●  Excellent working environment within a climate controlled very clean facility

●  Part time or Full time – (Mon – Fri) schedule – up to 40 hours

●  Unique and interesting work opportunity building custom equipment

●  Initial assignment 4-7 months
