About the opportunity:
The lead installer based in Elk Grove Village, IL, under the direction of the Installation Manager will oversee
a crew of 1 – 2 installers in the installation of commercial food service equipment. The selected candidate will comply with all applicable service policies and procedures, maintain frequent contact with the office to receive and review service assignments.
Some of the key activities that you will perform in this role are:
  • Work onsite to set-up, program, test, dismantle and reconstruct equipment as necessary
  • Schedule installation with customer and confirm prior to installation date
  • Provide guidance and coaching to installers as it relates to work assignments
  • Consistently achieve or surpass weekly productivity and service labor revenue goals
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by delivering excellence in products and service; superior customer service
What you’ll bring to the table:
You must be able to meet one of the following:
  • Accredited High School diploma, Business or trade school or GED
  • 3-5 years of experience in Commercial install experience
  • Excellent mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude; to include Welding and Hydraulics
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; daily travel of up to 130 miles*
  • Able to travel and attend training schools
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools; read blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigerant, plumbing and soldering
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office products excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
*daily travel requirements subject to change based on needs of branch
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
  • Climbing up to 8 ft with ladder
  • Extensive driving up to 5-6 hours/day
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
  • OT as required
