Kitting Parts Processor - Piqua, OH
Shift: Second
Hours: 12:00 pm - 8:30pm

Hobart Service is currently looking to add a Kitting Parts Processor for its Service Parts Distribution Center (SPDC) in Piqua, Ohio.  The SPDC ships repair parts across the US and internationally to support the repair of commercial food equipment sold under the Hobart, Vulcan, Baxter, Berkel and Avery Berkel brands.

About the opportunity:
The selected candidate will report to the department supervisor and work under the direction of the supervisor to perform any and all duties associated with the relocation of inventory storage. Candidates must be versatile in being able to move to various positions as needed throughout the department.
  • Perform tasks as directed by Supervisor, including
  • Build kits and assembly to print or by instruction of team lead
  • Record Production transactions into computer system
  • Use general tools (screwdriver, drill, hammer)
  • Read assembly prints
  • Follow all work and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Accredited High school diploma or GED, preference will be given to applicants that are pursuing post High School education
  • Good interpersonal skills with emphasis on ability to work in team environment.
  • Experience with Powered Equipment (Forklift, Stock Picker)
  • Up to 50# lifting requirement
  • Extensive walking 3-5 miles per day
  • Ability to work overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Microsoft AX knowledge for inventory, sales orders or production
