Division Description:

ITW Electronics Assembly Equipment (EAE) Division is made up of four brands strongly recognized by Contract Manufacturers and OEM’s in the Electronics and Industrial Markets.  The Division designs, develops and assembles capital equipment primarily used in the assembly process of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) and other industrial applications. In 2016 these companies had revenues above $200M and is positioned for above market rates of growth.  

Position Summary:

Our company is searching for a hands-on IT Manager.  The ideal candidate will be one with diversified IT and operational management experience as well as demonstrated skills in network, hardware support and more.  Responsible to develop, implement and maintain all information systems.  Prepares and reviews information systems budgets and business plans. Oversees the daily operations of the IT area they are responsible for. Oversees training and develops information security policies and procedures. Responsible for overseeing a global team of IT professionals and support staff involved in major IT projects as well as day-to-day operational activities. 

Job Requirements


  • Strategically recommends and plans information technology to support and meet company objectives based on research and evaluation

  • Implementation and execution of new/upgraded infrastructure via well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability

  • Evaluates and implements IT procedures and equipment for maximum efficiency and cost containment

  • Ensures users/customers are provided professional, courteous, and timely support and service

  • Stays abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance

  • Develops and maintains company disaster recovery plan

  • Develops/selects and ensures user training on an as-needed basis

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an IT professional, and 3+ years’ managerial experience in an IT Department

  • Business process alignment in a manufacturing environment.

  • Project management experience

  • Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • System conversion experience

  • LAN/WAN, Hardware experience

  • Senior level experience in networking, IT, or other related fields

  • VMWare experience

  • Familiarity with researching communication networks

  • Previous experience as a network or systems administrator

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Document all technical procedures and user guides

  • Deadline and detail-oriented

    Technical Requirements:

  • Experience with Windows, Outlook, Remote Access support (i.e. VPN and Wireless), Microsoft office productivity tools, web-based applications, TCP/IP, VMWare, Net App, WatchGuard, Backup exec, Tape libraries, Cisco and HP switches, multi-function printers
