Job Description

Shift: M-Th 4:00 am – 2:30 pm

Responsibilities: Perform clerical duties necessary to maintain stock inventory records in accordance with established procedures. Post material records from purchase orders, receiving slips, manufacturing or shipping requisitions and maintain balances. Check balances against actual inventory and correct variances. Submit re-order requisitions at order points weekly for packaging materials to replenish inventory. Although routine, work is detailed and required to be error-free. The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into ERP system.

 Receive and issue finished goods into ERP system.

 Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.

 Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired.

 Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights.

 Prepare and participate in monthly, quarterly and yearly physical inventories.

 Requires moving material from production floor to MRD racks.

 Requires doing quick MO’s (paperwork) to put product in inventory system.

 Requires picking product from MRD, (stock) from racks for customer order.

 Need to create paperwork to place customer order in shipping.

 Ensure all paperwork received from produced material is accurate.

 Liaise customer expedited orders between Production, Customer Service & Shipping.

 Utilize 80/20 to prioritize daily work.

 Organize product flow between Production & Shipping. Consolidate orders as necessary.

 Follow safety practices.

 Ability to call carriers & schedule with carriers on the internet.

 Ability to operate Shipping department equipment- stretch wrapper, banding equipment, pallet jack, forklift.

 Perform basic PC shipping functions.

Job Requirements


  High School diploma or equivalent.

  Minimum of 1 - 3 years of inventory control experience required.

  Quality focused with strong attention to detail.

  Ability to read and interpret work process procedures.

  Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills.

  Forklift experience preferred.

  Computer literacy required.

  UPS & FedEx systems knowledge preferred.

  Must possess strong communication skills and be able to work well in a team and/or individually.

  Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without restriction, bend, sit, and stand as needed.

  Able to work overtime including weekends, and different hours when necessary.
