Job Description

Job Summary:
This position is based in Orlando, FL under the direction of the Install Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation of the various components for food equipment. Work onsite to set-up and program and also dismantle and reconstruct equipment when necessary. As an Install Team Leader, you will contact customer prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.

Provide guidance and coaching to installers as it related to work assignments, specific work steps, proper and safe use of all tool and/or machinery or overall job performance. The individual will consistently achieve or surpass weekly productivity and service labor revenue goals assigned by management, while maintaining a high level of customer service skills. May lead team in the absence of a Team Lead.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: adjusting, aligning, assembling, calibrating, inspecting, lubrication and testing of commercial food prep equipment, electrical/mechanical and electronics troubleshooting; will work out solutions in the best interest of the customer; will be responsible for vehicle inventory and appearance; will need to satisfactorily complete company schools or audio/video field training.
Candidate will comply with all applicable service policies and procedures, maintain frequent contact with the office to receive service assignments and review service problems with advisor, or manager. Must be available for overtime and on-call schedule.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Accredited High School diploma, Business or trade school or GED
  • Excellent mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in Commercial Install/Service experience
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and able to drive multiple hours per day
  • Able to travel and attend training schools
  • Read blue prints and schematic drawings.
  • Have Experience in Welding, Hydraulics and/or Electrical Skills
  • Understand How to Troubleshoot Mechanical Problems
  • Basic plumbing and soldering knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of CO2 and Freon
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, high hacks, dollies and other related moving equipment
  • Operation of various types of power and hand tools, including: drills, saws, grinding wheels, hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, tubing benders, files, etc.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office products excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Accurately and consistently tracking expenses incurred during course of job project according to company procedures
  • Write change orders and obtain approvals for modifications not listed in the scope of work
  • Ensure all work documentation is fully and accurately completed –record job progress, log hours to correct job, taking pictures of job sites and/or progress
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
  • Climbing up to 8 ft with ladder
  • Extensive driving 5-6 hours/day
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
  • OT as required
