There is currently an opportunity for a Industrial Engineer, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. 


  • Leads manufacturing efforts and projects targeting waste reduction, efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
  • Designs control systems to minimize and resolve production and project issues and costs.
  • Reviews and improves production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other resources used to aid in productivity and cost reduction.
  • Establishes flows of materials, layout of equipment and manufacturing workplace organization.
  • Utilizes statistical methods and mathematical calculations to establish workflows, staffing requirements, and production targets.
  • Aids in developing standard work guidelines for manufacturing employees.
  • Implements procedures for reduction and disposition of scrap and defective materials and products.
  • Manages and aids in facilitation of manufacturing training programs.
  • Leads and administers plant 5S program.
  • Oversees manufacturing documentation, such as Work Instructions and SOP's.
  • Provides measurements for performance of department versus goals and objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering. Prefer three to five years of progressively increasing responsibility in relevant positions.
  • Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Advanced knowledge of asset and workforce utilization methods.
  • Understanding of the interactions between various systems and how changes in operations, specifications, orders, etc. can impact the manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, data analysis and subsequent software. 
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures.
