Job Description

You will have exposure to all functions of Human Resources under the guidance of a seasoned HR Manager.

  • Recruiting of temporary labor and office personnel
  • New hire processing and onboarding
  • Benefits presentations and enrollment
  • Payroll and Timekeeping
  • Employee relations (intake of employee inquiries and provide feedback after consulting with HR Manager)
  • Employee Communication (posters, meetings, training)
  • Workers Compensation and Injury reporting
  • Organize fun employee events
  • Administer corporate citizenship activities
  • Assist with employee counseling and separations

If you are an organized individual, plan out your assignments, like to get things done without wasting time, and have excellent computer skills (navigation, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), then this may be the internship for you.

Duration: 3 month minimum

Schedule: 24-40 hours per week

Job Requirements


  • Junior or Senior (or recent graduate) with major in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business Management, or Psychology


  • bi-lingual Spanish or Vietnamese preferred
  • organized

  • excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • excellent PC navigation skills


Must be able to:

  • Perform activities including bending, stooping, standing, walking
  • Stand and walk from two (2) to four (4) hours per day
  • Climb up and down stairs four (4) to six (6) times per day
  • Operate common office equipment, i.e. PC, phone, copier, printer, fax
  • Work in climate controlled environment
  • Work occasionally outdoors in temperatures ranging from hot to cold
