We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the development and analysis of financial and commercial data for the global Magnaflux business. This role will partner with international Controllers to obtain consistent and accurate data, and provide reports and analysis that are value added in understanding the business.


Essential Job Responsibilities:



  • Analyzes information regarding all aspects of the business including customers, products, pricing and suppliers across the Division to assist in strategic decision making. 

  • Develop and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Drive Divisional financial performance by working with local and international stakeholders to deliver improvements.

  • Develop financial models and trend analysis to support strategic initiatives

  • Provide financial support to other department leaders including variance analysis and ad-hoc reports

  • Participate on Divisional business teams to drive simplifications in processes.

  • Responsible for working with International Controllers to maintain Division Dataset and related financial reporting and analysis.

  • Simplify and standardize existing reporting across Division.          

  • Additional duties and tasks as assigned.



Job Requirements

Qualifications:



  • B.S. Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years relevant work experience. CPA/MBA preferred.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite with highly advanced Excel skills including the ability to create and edit pivots, tables, charts, and graphs; as well as ability to create business models showing different scenarios. Proficiency in Power BI or other database software is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in data manipulation and providing clear reports that provide value-add information to end users.

  • Ability to review, evaluates and prioritizes tasks/project assignments, identifies key issues and escalate to management appropriately.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to manage team projects team leadership

  • Takes a systematic approach to evaluate alternatives, makes fact-based decisions and evaluates the consequences of decisions.

  • Must possess a strong willingness to learn and high-level or curiosity with the proven ability to self-teach.

  • Knowledge of cost accounting required. Prior experience with data warehouses preferred.

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

  • Minimal travel required.
