Entry Level Equipment Installer – Kansas City, KS
Install premium brands of commercial food equipment to include Hobart, Traulsen, Vulcan, Baxter, Wolf and many more!

About the opportunity:
This is an entry level position under the direction of the Branch Manager based in Kansas City, KS. 
Some of the key activities you will perform in this role are
  • Assist with equipment installations, maintenance and inspect for proper operation
  • Drive delivery truck to deliver and pick up equipment
  • Verify accuracy of Bill of Lading or Equipment Schedule
  • Uncrate and move equipment into position
  • Responsible for electrical/gas/plumbing connections as required
  • Assist other Service Technicians and Branch employees
  • Manage expense reports and travel budgets
  • Overnight installs required; be able to travel up to 3 hours for out of town installs
What you’ll bring to the table:
  • High School diploma/GED or related experience
  • 0-1 years of experience in related field
  • Valid Class E drivers license and able to pass DOT physical
  • Mechanical/electrical aptitude to include knowledge of welding, hydraulics, refrigeration, plumbing and soldering
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by delivering excellence in products and services; promptly follow up on customer issues and request
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
  • Climbing up to 8 ft with ladder
  • Extensive driving up to 5-6 hours/day
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
  • OT as required
