Job Description:  


The position holder will work directly with our Engineering team and he/she will be involved in tool box projects that are tailored to the qualified candidate’s specific skills and field of study. This role will interface, on a daily basis, with the ITW management and professionals from various departments.


Duties and Responsibilities:


●  Perform Time Studies on current and future processes


●  Document current standard operating procedures and work instructions


●  Develop audit process to ensure procedures are being followed


●  Evaluate process flows and space usage


●  Assist with the development of models to be used in pricing development


●  Design of machinery and mechanical mechanisms/systems


●  Solve problems creatively and quickly


●  Perform engineering calculations


●  Test, troubleshoot prototype equipment


●  This position will also include other duties as needed





Job Requirements

Requirements:


●  College junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor level degree program in Engineering (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Project Management)


●  GPA of 3.0 or above


●  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize work


●  Quick learner – i.e. ability to learn new software and understand directions


●  Reliable/dependable – shows up to work on time and is committed to timely completion of assignments


●  Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong creative problem-solving skills required.


●  Proficient in 3D modeling and drafting (SolidWorks preferred)


●  Willingness to do hands on work, proficiency with tools, and ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment


●  Comfortable working in a fast paced, ever changing environment


●  Self-motivated


●  High attention to detail
