There is currently an opportunity for an Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor reporting to the Engineering Manager. This position will be based out of the Kernersville, NC headquarters.

Identify and address root cause(s) for top scrap reason. Objective is to reduce scrap by 50%.

  • Analyze data using infinity QS software to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist and contribute to validating manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to determine causes and duration of downtime events and develop effective action plans to increase uptime.
  • Support issue resolution for production and quality including root cause investigation and corrective action tracking.
  • Identify and eliminate non-value add in existing production/packaging processes to improve efficiency

Job Requirements

  • Rising Senior working toward and Engineering degree.
  • Basic Engineering process understanding
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and implement strategies to execute effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems, six sigma methodology, cleanrooms and contamination control preferred.
  • Strong communication, documentation and organizational skills
  • Preferred candidates will have an understanding of textiles.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and time management skills.
  • Understanding of Statistical Process Control and exposure to statistics.
  • Analytics experience, including data summary and analysis skills preferred.
