Position Summary:

In a team-based environment the Production Planner will plan, schedule and prepare production work order details; correlate planning and scheduling with machine orders and upgrades; issue requests for new and special materials; revise and reschedule orders when necessary; collaborate with purchasing, engineering, service group, and production to coordinate schedules; maintain files and records as required.

  • Ability to read and work from written assembly drawings and diagrams, BOM’s,
  • Complete assemblies within the standard time and to defined quality levels.
  • Demonstrated complex mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic techniques
  • Fit, adjust, calibrate and align assemblies to close tolerances.
  • Demonstrated ability to use complex electrical test equipment
  • Demonstrated wiring and troubleshooting skills
  • Complex understanding and knowledge of 24 to 480 volt electrical circuits
  • Ability to use OHM meter
  • Troubleshoots malfunctioning circuits and makes required repairs.
  • Services and calibrates electronic components or control systems in equipment.
  • Under minimal supervision, troubleshoots, inspects, and tests complex electronic equipment.
  • Ability to operate pneumatic hand and bench power tools
  • Understanding of torque requirements on hand tools
  • Familiarity with drill bit and tap sizes
  • Read and understand standard and metric tapes and measuring devices
  • Performs a wide variety of highly technical duties to test, troubleshoot, and repair any electromechanical problems with equipment
  • PC skills including a “Windows” type operating environment.
  • Understanding of inventory control methods and willingness to take responsibility for inventory
  • Willingness and ability to receive training to train co-workers
  • Inspection of incoming work content and ability to test assemblies and perform TQC checks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Perform safety checks on appropriate equipment.
  • Provide work area maintenance and housekeeping

  • Light to average lifting – ability to lift and carry 40 pounds up to 20 feet
