Dispatcher - West Palm Beach FL

This is a West Palm Beach, Florida - based position under the direction of a Branch Manager. The selected candidate will be able to perform a variety of administrative duties associated with the field Service industry including dispatching functions, sales, clerical and inventory management in order to provide prompt and efficient service to our customers. The candidate will answer all incoming telephone service requests and record all pertinent information in Field Service Program on computer, schedule calls, using the computer to supply information needed by Service Technicians and for determining priorities to be assigned to service calls.  Professionally handle and direct customer complaints. The candidate must be able to maintain follow up system for parts ordered by Service Techs to ensure complete customer satisfaction per company policies and guidelines, including checking for inspections due. The individual will be responsible for filing Service Order copies numerically, type and/or maintain inspection lists, update and maintain files (computer or manual).  Individual will also perform other clerical functions, as necessary, such as assisting with tracking of consignment, Parts Sales, assisting walk-in customers, inventory management, shipping/receiving, Accounting, Accounts Receivables, Collections, handling phone calls for supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years’ experience in related field, high function office environment.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service Skills
  • Highly organized and structured, high attention to detail
  • Able to multi – task and manage multiple priorities, with strong interpersonal/influencing skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Very strong computer skills. Microsoft Excel, word, and Outlook
  • Ability to research on the internet and through Corp Database to insure accurate data
  • Self-motivating, Analytic, Questioning, and Challenging
  • Responsive and flexible - team player
  • “Can Do" approach to problem Solving and decision making
  • Tenacious and results orientated - accountable
  • General knowledge of product lines and service parts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of GPS software
  • Bi-lingual Spanish a plus
  • Experience with MS accounting programs a plus
  • Experience in Restaurant/HVAC Service, Parts Counter Sales a plus
