Job Title: Digital Marketing Communications Manager

Location: Crawley, with travel UK wide as required

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

 

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Digital Marketing Communications Manager to join ITW Construction Products. The Digital Marketing Communications Manager is a brand-new role and is key in driving a digital first approach to marketing. You will need to assist the company in developing competitive strategies for the Paslode range of products. The Digital Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the company. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, he/she manages a team of a Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant to deliver the actions agreed within the wider Paslode Wood Segment Marketing & Sales Team.


As Digital Marketing Communications Manager your responsibilities and duties will include:

Primary responsibilities:

  • Devise and be responsible for the delivery of the Annual Communications Plan (traditional and digital) with full control over budget and forecasting
  • Defining and managing actions of digital and traditional communications, selecting media as well as reporting on campaign performance and carrying out in-depth analysis.
  • Communication support delivery of: catalogues, price lists, literature, PR / blogs, adverts, promotional items, video production, sales management conferences and corporate hospitality, internal and external newsletters
  • Trade shows / exhibition organization/ Merchandise / POS


Digital Media and other Online Platforms

  • Working with the Online Key Account Manager to shape and deliver the ecommerce strategy to drive traffic, sales and improve the end user experience on our customer websites.
  • Websites development including content delivery and updates
  • Create detailed digital communications plans that maximise our products visibility on our customer websites to capitalise on our marketing investment. Leveraging external learnings and consumer insights to develop strong and measurable digital activity plans
  • Developing and executing a partnership strategy with channel, Influencers, media/platforms to deliver the brand objectives
  • Clear understanding of Social Listening Process and how to implement at brand level
  • Defining the social media end user experience and ensuring that it meets the needs of target end users and lives up to our Brand promise
  • Continuously experiment and innovate with original and disruptive ways to leverage mobile and social activities that generate media buzz and brand visibility
  • Developing relevant methods for measuring the impact digital activity has on the brand
  • Identify and define performance metrics and KPIs, analyse, interpret and report on campaign performance
  • Ensure consistent and continuous day-to-day management and optimisation of the digital brand ecosystem, including digital channel management, marketing campaigns, CRM, e-commerce and CMS
  • Build and develop strategic relationships with key External Partners e.g. Spotify, Google, Facebook
  • Create first class digital campaigns to build brands in the smart phone enabled world
  • Own and manage social media pages, video channels and major brand websites in line with the wider brand and regional/local sales team strategies

Job Requirements

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  •  Marketing Degree, digital marketing, or CIM qualifications
  • Specific experience in Digital Marketing communications with a proven track record
  • Digital marketing experience including sales promotion campaigns, management of websites including e-commerce websites
  • Not essential but desirable would also be B2C marketing experience that includes; consumer-facing website development, SEO, PPC, e-commerce, social media marketing and consumer email and mobile campaigns.

  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally
