Job Description



Summary:

 

This role requires an energetic, highly motivated and professional individual with a minimum of 3 years industrial customer service experience.

Incumbent will be based at the Olathe, KS location and report to the Customer Service Manager.



Primary Responsibilities:

 

•        Provide superior support and services to our distributors, end user customers, and our outside sales team.

•        Manage orders submitted for several different brand portfolios.

•        Provide timely and accurate industrial customer account assistance.

•        Mange a high volume of pricing and availability calls, common technical inquiries, order verifications, and troubleshooting orders or shipping errors.

•        Provide sales support.

•        Maintain master data and monitor of sales pricing programs.

•        Provide distributor support and respond to common technical inquiries.

•        Investigate and handle freight claims.

•        Participate in sales projects as defined by manager.

•        Work closely with multiple teams to manage and grow accounts, including outside sales and internal departments.

•        Develop thorough understanding of product offerings and distribution channels.

•        Perform upselling activities.

•        Maintain CRM system, call logs, reports and update necessary KPI’s.

•        Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements



Core Skills/Education/Experience Requirements:

 

•        High school diploma or equivalent, college degree a plus.

•        Minimum 3+ years industrial customer service experience.

•        3+ years sales/inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

•        Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision, CRM system, and Sales Force experience a plus.

•        Experience with international exporting documentation, HAZMAT, project management and exposure to process mapping, a plus.


•        Drive to overcome obstacles and succeed in a sales environment.

•        Capability to partner with team and other internal areas to identify ways to ensure top performance, resolve issues, and improve efficiency of the order to cash (OTC) process.

•        Proactive time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize daily work flow with a professional work ethic.

•        Ability to take direction and make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong sense of urgency and true commitment to customers.

•        Ability to demonstrate analytical skills and independent problem solving with a variety of variables.

•        Commitment and willingness to strive toward achieving Divisional gals and business objectives.

•        Great listening and closing skills.

•        Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•        Strong organizational skills.

•        Ability to provide tip tier reliable customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and sustain competitive advantage.

•        Ability to adapt to a changing work environment in a positive manner.

•        Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
