Job Summary

To process incoming calls to the office and operate live online chat function on Focus Partner web site Provide additional customer support to key dealers, including outbound telemarketing campaigns, pricing and general sales enquiries. Provide administrative support to sales executives and internal sales admin team. Conduct telephonic market research to accurately record the outcomes of all calls on Caterlyst.


  • To handle inbound calls and online enquiries; if required directing the enquiry to the correct person or department within the business

  • Contact prospective customers via telephone to market Hobart products and services

  • Record all activity accurately on the Caterlyst system

  • Provide increased support for 80S dealers including net prices, stock availability, discount information and product enquiries.

  • Provide increased support to sales executives with sales pipeline management and by updating opportunity status.

  • Complete telephone Market Research

  • Work with Sales Administration team to check orders


Job Requirements

Key Skills and Attributes

  • 4 GCSE Passes or equivalent essential, further higher education is desirable

  • Experience within a similar role, where you are dealing with customers directly

  • Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite essential, experience using databases would be advantageous

  • Ability to prioritize work and multi task

  • Strong attention to detail and can demonstrate accurate record keeping

  • Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to build strong relationships

  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • A strong team player, who is result driven.

  • Previous knowledge of the food equipment market desirable
