Job Description

Job Responsibilities


  • Fully responsible for the P&L and Balance sheets including all internal control functions for the largest operation in Buehler
  • Responsible for managing the completion of the following process in adherence to the due dates
  • Provide financial analysis on actuals along with recommendations on improvements
  • Coordinate some division wide tasks such as sales flash, month/quarter end deliverables
  • Responsible for the forecasting of profit / loss and understanding of drivers
  • Coordinate departmental budget process for the US region
  • Interpret financial and budget reports and provide feedback for improvements
  • Makes recommendations based on financial status
  • Supervise a team of 5 people in the Accounting team and their development
  • Responsible for managing the AR/AP functions by supporting your team
  • Provide approval for most higher dollar orders for creditworthiness of the customer
  • Manage internal and external audits
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
  • Supervisory responsibilities; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Performs other duties as assigned by GM, Functional Lead, Division or Country Controller 
  • Work with operations, managing and monitoring inventory levels
  • Establish priorities and work closely with Division or Group Controller and Functional Lead in delivering financial messages

Responsibilities



  • 7+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • Worked in a manufacturing company for at least 3 years
  • Ability to travel if required including internationally 15% or less
  • Required to work longer hours during month end and other high volumes
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Office; experience with Navision software a plus
  • Minimum - Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA/MBA Preferred 
  • Work with very limited direct supervision and be able to still keep in alignment with Divisions goals
