BASIC DESCRIPTION:This role is responsible for managing the Intern Program across the North America Welding Segment. This person will be given the opportunity to continue to grow and innovate our campus recruitment program and make their mark on our current process. This is an exciting challenge with an opportunity for continued growth in the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare and execute recruiting strategies and plans for annual campus recruitment through establishing strategic partnerships with identified colleges to attract diverse top talent for internship and early in career openings.
  • Create consistent presentation and promotional materials for campus recruitment events to portray our employment brand proposition across all four of our product brands.
  • Partner with ITW’s Talent Management Team on campus events, interns, and other recruiting efforts.
  • Coordinate campus recruiting initiatives through establishing internal campus teams for each strategic college.
  • Orchestrate and implement effective and efficient interview & selection process for interns and new grads to create a best in class candidate experience to attract top talent for intern openings and new grads.
  • Manage the summer internship program to ensure interns gain the right experiences to increase our intern conversion success rate.
  • Coordinate recruiting initiative and attend events to build and maintain relationships with colleges and students.
  • Manage a talent pool of qualified candidates for current and future needs for the Divisions.
  • Complete annual competitive analysis on internship and entry-level compensations and make recommendations when needed.
  • Support events such as Manufacturing Day to drive our employment brand and culture in the community.
  • Support Talent Acquisition Manager(s) and assigned open positions (interns & full-time) on interview scheduling coordination & pre-hire logistics to include background checks, drug screens, and new hire paperwork to ensure a great new hire experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of campus recruiting experience
  • Ability to travel as needed for recruitment initiatives. Travel can be up to 50% during recruitment season.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel, and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and statistics and present findings
  • Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions
  • Outstanding organizational skills, close attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Can work independently with a strong ability to collaborate with a can-do, positive attitude
  • Flexibility to deal with changing priorities, the ability to remain calm under pressure and comfortable working with minimal direction
