Job Description


The Business Development Representative is responsible for increasing the company’s visibility and establishing credibility within our customers and prospects. This position supports aftermarket sales initiatives through strategic management of Top20 account base, territory analysis, and proactive outbound prospecting. This position also manages customer roll over calls.

  • Manages and monitors ribbon, ink, and parts sales activity within each Top20 account.

  • Strategizes sales initiatives in partnership with ASR team and RAM group to gain aftermarket business of new and existing customers.

  • Develops and analyzes reports for Top20 customers and prospects.

  • Prospects via Outbound Calls for new business with emphasis on target, major accounts, and those with reduction in consumable purchases.

  • Works with marketing to help implement and maintain marketing initiatives to stimulate Diagraph market mindshare within the target account base.

  • Documents activity in CRM.

  • Maintains focus on continuous improvement by applying 80/20, PLS, and USa principles/techniques and makes process improvement recommendations to management.

  • Processes product returns for credit, repairs, and warrantees.

  • Issues, processes and closes RMA’s.

  • Audits and reports contract activity

  • Outbound Selling for account management, ink & part sales, and service contracts

  • Implements and manages special projects and sales initiatives as directed by sales management.

Job Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or bachelors preferred



  • Minimum 1 year customer service or sales experience

  • Minimum 1 year inside sales experience with an emphasis on outbound prospecting and customer engagement

  • 1 year marketing, account management experience preferred

  • Prior experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system preferred; specifically E-Synergy or MACOLA strongly preferred
