Job Description

Incumbent will be responsible for driving the overall performance of the Las Vegas, Nevada Branch office in response to customer needs, thereby insuring their satisfaction with installed Hobart, Vulcan and other FEG products and promoting future products and services. Individual will recommend facilities plan for local office, develop annual budget and operating plan for office and establish systems and procedures to deal with local service priorities. Also take corrective action on any variance to established procedures, operates within budgets and MBO’s as approved by the Region Director.

 The individual will have extensive involvement with the selling organizations to promote the sale of Hobart, Vulcan and other FEG products. Will develop and maintain close customer relationships with all customer types to promote service and equipment sales.  The candidate will be responsible for managing several national accounts in the Las Vegas area. Experience with handling multiple high-volume customers with new programs, rollouts, service/sale issues and any other issues are needed.

Accountable for meeting service revenue growth, profitability, and expense targets along with return on management investment and corporate asset management objectives. Selected candidate should possess strong customer relations skills and a financial acumen. The individual will be responsible for administering personnel policies and programs within the office and executing policies and procedures relative to managing service parts inventory and all other assets in the Branch office.

  • Direct management of all service business functions of the Branch, including administrative/parts personnel and service technicians
  • Grow market share by selling Hobart Service products that support ITWFEG anchor products.
  • Size of business $2,000,000 – 5,000,000
  • Number of employees directly supervised 4-6.  Total 10-15 employees
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years demonstrated proficiency in a supervisor/sales role in a service/sales related business.
  • P&L experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • PC proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Technical experience-ability to help out on installs, service calls, on call work
  • Sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hobart Service product knowledge 
  • Working knowledge of Branch operating systems

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting 50-75 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Climbing up to 8 ft. with ladder
  • Extensive walking 1 miles / day
  • Extensive driving 1-2 hours/day
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
  • 25% travel
  • OT as required
