Job Description

This position is based in Minneapolis, MN under the direction of the Regional Director but will shadow various Branch Managers for training.  The Branch Manager is responsible to assist the Regional/Branch Manager in the coordination of all business functions.  They are responsible to grow the business profitably by increasing the sales activities.  Assist Branch Managers in meeting service revenue growth, profitability, and expense targets along with return on management investment and corporate asset management objectives. Achieve service revenue target and selective sales quotas as assigned. This position may include extensive travel throughout the United States at times.

  • Individual will maintain close customer relationships with all customer types to promote service and equipment sales.
  • Uses leadership, management skill, creativity, business development, and available resources to assist the Branch Managers in achieving financial and non-financial goals of the Branch.
  • Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and developing associates of the branch with the focus on providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to both internal and external customers.
  • Manage branch locations in the absence of the branch manager.
  • If necessary, resolves customer disputes and complaints to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting with various improvement projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance.
  • 3 – 5 years experience in a service related business.
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Financial acumen.
  • Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Must be able to use decision-making, organizational and problem-solving skills as a routine part of daily activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet goals and attain desired business results in a team-oriented environment is vital.
  • Must be willing to Travel. 

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
  • Climbing up to 8 ft with ladder
  • Extensive walking 3-5 miles / day
  • Extensive driving 5-6 hours/day
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
  • Up to 75% travel, primarily within the West Region
