Job Description

Hobart Service is looking for a Branch Manager to join their team at their Hartford, CT location.
              
This position is based in Hartford, CT under the direction of the Regional Operations Manager – North Atlantic Market Area.  The Branch Manager is responsible for the coordination of all business functions.  They are responsible to grow the business profitably by increasing the sales activities.  They are responsible for meeting service revenue growth, profitability, and expense targets along with return on management investment and corporate asset management objectives. Achieve service revenue target and selective sales quotas as assigned. This position may include some travel throughout the United States at times.

Responsibilities:
  • Individual will maintain close customer relationships with all customer types to promote service and equipment sales.
  • Uses leadership, management skill, creativity, business development, and available resources in achieving financial and non-financial goals of the Branch.
  • Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and developing associates of the branch with the focus on providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to both internal and external customers.
  • Manage multiple territories within the geography of the branch.
  • If necessary, resolves customer disputes and complaints to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting with various improvement projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or ITW Experience
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in a service related business.
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Financial acumen.
  • Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Must be able to use decision-making, organizational and problem-solving skills as a routine part of daily activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet goals and attain desired business results in a team-oriented environment is vital.
  • Must be willing to relocate and travel.

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
  • Climbing up to 8 ft with ladder
  • Extensive walking 3-5 miles / day
  • Extensive driving 5-6 hours/day
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
  • Up to 25% travel, primarily within the North Region
