We are currently hiring for an experienced Electrical Assembler responsible for the assembly and wiring of electrical components into pollution control units, utility distribution systems (UDS) and UV units.  We are a custom fab business, take pride in our
craftsmenship and product.   


• Assemble electrical components for Pollution Control Units.

• Install flex and EMT conduit.

• Layout circuits and installs wiring on standard Gaylord products.

• Assist with the assembly of RSPC’s. 

• Assemble electrical components for ventilation equipment.

• Practice and perform all safety procedures while operating equipment within the department

• Assist in other areas as needed.

In this role, an individual cannot be colorblind; must have manual dexterity, physically able to fit into tight places and work in awkward positions.

Body Movements – amount of time spent performing each physical requirement:

 Occasional – 1/3 or less

 Frequent – 1/3 to 2/3

 Continuous – 2/3 or more

Frequent to Continuous: standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, and reaching.

Occasional to Frequent:  ability to lift up to 50lbs+ and work with arms extended at shoulder level or above

Occasional:  sitting, pushing and pulling, working from a kneeling position, climb and work from ladders.


Required Skills

  • Ability to install flex and EMT conduit
  • Ability to layout circuits and install wiring
  • Working knowledge of the following tools: drill motors, cutoff saws, Grinders, drill press, Tapping tools, belt sanders and various hand tools.
  • Proficiently read and use a tape measure.
  • Basic electrical wiring skills
  • Follow all safety and housekeeping rules.
  • Actively participate in Safety Program.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English in order to respond to questions for English speaking customers and to read/interpret prints, diagrams and drawings.
  • Skills to perform basic math
  • Team player
  • Good interpersonal skills

Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum age requirement is 18 years.


Required Experience

• 6 + months related electrical assembly

• Forklift experience.  *Gaylord certification will be required.


Preferred Experience

  • Proficient UV (ultraviolet) wiring experience
  • Proficient UDS (utility distribution system) wiring experience
  • Experience assembling RSPC units
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Tig Welding experience a plus
  • Experience with sheet metal manufacturing
  • Experience working in a production environment

Working Conditions:

• Plant or Warehouse Office Environment.  

• No travel required.
