Magnaflux, a division of Illinois Tool Works (Fortune 250), is a leading worldwide supplier of magnetic particle, dye penetrant inspection equipment and associated chemical products used for applications within the Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Energy markets.

We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Intern to join the Magnaflux Inside Sales department during the summer of 2020. During your time with us you will be identifying business opportunities within the nondestructive testing market and developing plans to actualize on those opportunities.

As an Inside Sales intern with Magnaflux, you can expect to grow through challenging work, get involved with meaningful projects and receive great coaching from our leaders. You will be expected to develop basic understanding of product lines, customer segments and their needs and Magnaflux's inside sales procedures. Ultimately, you will gain board experience in inside sales, which will prepare you to enter a fast-paced sales environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct account research to identify potential prospects and target markets for new business
  • Outbound cold and warm calling (telephone, email) to carry out lead prospecting and generation
  • Partner with inside sales representatives to achieve specific sales objectives for assigned territories
  • Maintain and consolidate customer information in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with marketing department to develop and deploy customer engagement campaigns
  • Support the inside sales team in daily administrative tasks
  • Additional duties and tasks as assigned

Profil requis


  • Rising senior pursing a bachelor’s degree in communication, business, or other related field
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Excellent communication, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong time management skills, ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills
  • Strong aptitude and desire for a career in sales
