BASIC DESCRIPTION:

ITW Welding continues to build its capabilities on In-Circuit test for Miller Products. To support the effort, we are looking for an experienced ICT Test Engineer to be a key driver of the ITW business model and principals. This position is key in achieving maximum throughput and utilization for the In-Circuit testers and ensuring the shipment of high-quality production boards. This position requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with engineering teams, marketing, and product management to develop innovative and reliable products to serve our customer needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ownership of the In-Circuit Testing process for Electrical Components
  • Developing and supporting programs on a Teradyne GR228x and Keysight 3070
  • Machine diagnostics, maintenance, and 3rd party supplier relationships
  • Test fixture maintenance, modification and management
  • Development library modeling for both test platforms
  • Production support and implementation of ECO’s/ Deviations/production issues
  • Provide design review input and test solution quotes
  • Support NCN and component issue resolution as needed
  • Participate in project meetings and be responsible for assigned action items
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and project deliverables
  • Identify innovative patentable solutions to end market needs
  • Provide leadership and assistance within the department to test and layout
  • Assistance with the implementation of ERP and other systems upgrades

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years related experience in programing in either Teradyne or Keysight environment is required.
  • Must be extremely customer focused.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of electrical circuity design for both digital and analog applications and ability to understand circuit schematic drawings.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
