Job Title: Hobart Service Technician Trainee
Reports to: Local Branch Manager
High School Technician Trainee Job Description:

● Maintain the academic and attendance requirements to participate in the Hobart Service
● Observe company rules and other requirements identified by Hobart Service and program
employers and administrators
● Participate in progress reviews scheduled with mentors, school personnel and parent(s)
or guardian(s) and employers
● Complete program/company training requirements
● Demonstrate maturity and responsibility
● Responsible for transportation to and from workplace
● Meet the requirements of the particular program and demonstrate competency as set
forth in the program goals
● Meet academic requirements for the program including a passing grade/score in courses
required for admission to the Hobart Service Program
● Attend all scheduled activities under the Training program
What Trainees can learn in this Program:
Students engaged in work-based learning opportunities may:
● Credits toward their High School graduation requirements
● Hourly wage
● Scheduled Release from school for work during the day
● Develop workplace safety and professional skills
● Understand organizational operations and business practices
● Work at the company or in the field/ job site
● Install, service, maintain industry equipment and systems
● Service customers
● Learn supply chain, inventory, warehousing and order fulfillment
● Industry skills and training by an experienced mentor
