Position Summary:

Working in conjunction with the Director of Innovation and customer service group, the individual in this position is responsible for managing the development and execution of sales strategies with key accounts/regions.  She/he will be responsible for identifying customer “pain points” and other opportunities to sell QSA Global, Inc.’s value proposition.  This individual will act as a technical resource for key accounts and manage day to day technical inquires as needed.  She/he will be a key member of the business team with responsibilities in forecasting/planning to deliver results based upon QSA’s annual operating plan.  This individual will have opportunities to work closely with R&D and engineering functions, act as a project manager for new product development, and generate new intellectual property.

Job Requirements



Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working with Business Development to execute sales strategies to deliver year-on-year quality growth.

  • Manage strategic key accounts in support of global initiatives.

  • Communicating regularly with key accounts, monitoring sales progress against business plans, and evaluating market trends.

  • Utilize a “customer back” approach to identify unmet customer needs and develop sustainable and differentiated solutions to address them.

  • Interface closely with fulfillment functions including purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer service to ensure alignment with customer expectations.

  • Act as a resource for engineering, R&D, and other groups to address technical issues.



Job Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical, Materials Science, Nuclear or similar discipline.

  • Minimum of 5+ years in a Technical or Technical Sales role.

  • Desirable: Master of Science in Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering. 

  • Experience working with radioisotopes or x-ray devices a big plus.

  • Knowledgeable in materials selection, heat transfer, mechanical behavior of materials, special processes (heat treatment, case hardening, welding, brazing, coatings).

  • Prior experience with providing hands-on product demonstrations, technical training and presentations at customer sites, and/or technical society conferences.

  • Understanding of financials including working knowledge of budgeting, sales, and capital funding for growth.

  • Proven time management skill to prioritize internal and external demands.

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with customers.

  • Ability to travel 25-50%.
