Job Description

Hobart Weigh/Wrap is part of the ITW Food Equipment Group. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and innovative Software Application Engineer.  In this role, you will design, code, modify, develop, implement, debug, and test quality applications for weigh and wrap products. This engineer will participate in the testing process through design reviews and analysis. This position will be based in Troy, Ohio.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Science Computer Science (4 year degree)

  • Object Oriented Design with C++ programing language (6 years)

  • Qt5 GUI development (2 years)

  • Python programming language (1 year)

  • Linux command line shell  (1 year)

  • Multi-Threaded application development (1 year)

  • SQL database development (1 year)

  • MS Visual Studio IDE (1 year)

  • Network Socket Programming (1 year)

  • Makefile and/or autotools (1 year)

  • You will work in a team-oriented office and lab environment
