Job Description


This position ensures physical inventory matches system inventory, maintains customer open order report. Other duties as assigned including back-filling for others in the Materials Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains inventory accuracy, carries out the necessary inventory transactions on the mainframe.
  • Responsible for the creation of all new AR#’s in system
  • Proactively prevent inaccurate inventory and correct
  • Fix all EDI errors
  • Maintain accurate customer open order report
  • Reviews customer orders for large changes and alerts Materials Coordinators, Production Managers and Materials Manager.
  • Enter purchase orders and customer pricing in computer system
  • Assist and ensure correct products are delivered from vendors
  • Completed any other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements


  • High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • 2+ years’ manufacturing experience required in inventory, purchasing materials, components
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, required, Trans4M a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to work in a team or individually
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to grow and develop skills for advancement
  • Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends
  • Strong communication skills and data accuracy
