Job Description


We are looking to hire a High Purity product manager out of our Lincolnshire, IL facility. If you have prior experience in product management or a related field and a desire to expand your career, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking a driven and dynamic, highly organized product manager to join our growing internal support team. Someone who has experience in inventory management, documentation creation with strong computer skills, that can see the “entire field” of operations, sales, customer back innovation and product improvements would be a strong fit. You should also possess a mind for process improvement and streamlining operations utilizing technology as we continue to use the ITW toolbox to improve margin and speed up delivery for our customers. Strong communication skills are required to assist a growing inside technical sales group. An understanding of the sales process and requirements for meeting sales targets should be factored in when making decisions to meet overall company expectations and goals.


  • Technical Support for:
  • Applications & troubleshooting
  • Inside/outside sales & customers
  • Product training (sales & customers)
  • Service training and verification for all facilities
  • New product introduction(s)
  • Trade show(s) support
  • Inventory oversight & coordination with sales, purchasing, rental & repair
  • Oversee Orbitalum inventory grading
  • Manage documentation creation & updates (training guides, manuals & parts lists)
  • ITW toolbox implementation and application
  • Basic engineering & technical skills with 3D – CAD capabilities required
  • Experience with 3D printing recommended
  • Service center & process management for NCR, RMA, documentation and implementation to standards across facilities
  • Required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the ISO Quality program and procedures, and the ITW/E.H. Wachs safety program
  • Apply company goals and strategy to everyday activities

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

• 5 years minimum successful background preferred

• Basic GTAW welding skills, Orbital GTAW experience recommended

• Machining background or mechanical aptitude recommended

• Good speaking, writing, and organizational skills

• Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Auto-CAD proficiency required

• Familiarity with computer programming language(s) recommended

• Problem-solving skills

• Highly self-motivated & resourceful

• Must be able to adjust to a changing work environment, competing demands, frequent changes, delays and unexpected events

• Complete training provided by E.H. Wachs/Orbitalum

• Travel will be expected 15% of the time, with travel to Europe required


  • Ability to speak German recommended
  • Ability to lift (50lbs) and demonstrate equipment effectively
