OEM Material Handler

Job Summary: The OEM Material Handler facilitates the movement of goods throughout the warehouse: processing customer orders, inventory control, receiving, and putaway.

Responsibilities:

The 80:

-          Pick and pack orders

-          Process shipping paperwork

-          Load/unload delivery vehicles

-          Analyze label requirements

-          Operate a weight verification scale

-          Stock product

-          Perform Cycle counts

-          Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks & hand trucks

-          Maintain safe, clean organized work environment

The 20:

-          Light maintenance responsibilities

-          Continuous education

-          Other Duties as assigned

Key Deliverables to Demonstrate Success in 12 mos:

-          Proficient in all processes for Customers (Honda, Chrysler and Ford)

-          Proficient in FIFO and Cycle Counting

-          Positive Attitude and Great working relationship with all team members

-          Working on Process Improvement with the leaders of OEM

-          Ability to look ahead and plan for upcoming work (i.e. managing materials that are needed)

-          0 Near Miss Incidents and 0 Safety Incidents

Skills and Experience Needed

-          High School Diploma or G.E.D. 

-          Forklift Certified on Sit Down and Stand Up forklifts.

-          Three to five years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-          Read and write English clearly

-          Forklift experience

-          Light maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks & all other material handling equipment

-          Employee must work well under pressure while meeting multiple tasks or competing deadlines. 

-          Teamwork, encouragement and support for all departments is a requirement of the position. 

-          Cleanliness and organization are also a requirement for the position.

-          Work within warehouse management software

-          Work within Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and on-line communication systems

-          Able to work independently, be dependable and adapt to changes in systems and procedures. 

-          Should be a highly motivated individual
