Job Description

Working within our Concrete Business Unit, the Marketing Executive will support the day to day marketing needs and strategy of the wider team. As an efficient and adaptable team member you will be responsible for key marketing communications, control and improvement of databases, close marketing support for customers and sales teams and working on key marketing projects.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the candidate will be agile in their approach to department needs, be an excellent team player, whilst retaining a strong ability to work independently and proactively. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Marketing Communication liaison for key accounts – supporting with their marketing needs, web content improvement, catalogue or tactical marketing support.
  • Management of Product, customer and internal databases to improve visibility of our products and ensure accurate presentation of data used by internal and external stakeholders (non-technical)
  • Working closely with the Sales & Marketing team on key UK projects
  • Liaising with internal accounts, suppliers and third parties to ensure effective maintenance of marketing budget
  • Event management, organisation and support.
  • Effective and efficient handling of enquiries from customers, across telephone and electronic channels.
  • Management of the day to day marketing communication needs of the Concrete Business Unit
    • Liaising with third party designer
    • Management of, and brief delivery to the third-party content agency
    • Literature copy writing under support of Marketing Manager and technical team
  • Presentation creation, letter writing and corporate/brand copy writing.
  • Any other departmental administrative tasks and required support

Job Requirements

The Person:
  • Proactive and driven approach to communication both internally and externally.
  • Agile in work approach, responsibilities and adaptable to changing business needs day to day.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management ability.
  • Computer literate with strong capabilities within Microsoft office suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn and manage multiple different systems.
  • Trustworthy, independent and able to deliver to timelines and schedules.
  • Some basic ability in Adobe InDesign preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent team player invested in the success of the overall business unit, collaborative in nature and able to achieve goals through influence not force.
