Job Description

ITW Food Equipment Group, an Illinois Tool Works Fortune 200 business is a recognized leader among commercial food equipment worldwide. The function of this position is to provide maintenance support to the Troy, Ohio facilities by providing:

• Supervision to maintenance staff
• Building and grounds maintenance
• Development, Implementation, and oversight of cost-effective, sustainable, preventive maintenance programs to be executed by in-house and/or contractor personnel (i.e. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lawn care, snow removal, security/fire equipment servicing, etc.)
• Supervision and oversight of steam boiler plant equipment, operations, and utility consumption
• Compliance by scheduling and assisting with inspections on boiler plant equipment, elevators, fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and fire alarm systems, back-flow prevention devices, emergency generators, roofs, and grounds, etc.
• Management of capital projects up to $1 million
• Development and management of an annual budget in excess of $2 million for maintenance and operations of the Troy facility
• Interaction with representatives of several government agencies at local and state levels in areas of civil engineering, industrial compliance, environmental compliance, building code/occupancy compliance
• Utility consumption reporting (water, electric, natural gas, gasoline, liquid petroleum, solid waste disposal, etc.) to ITW corporate office
• Oversight of construction projects including verifying local, state, and federal codes, utility capacity, safety compliance, and final inspections
• Supervision and coordination of electrical service to the Troy campus including entire high voltage electrical service, and electrical repairs
• Emergency oversight and 24 hr. response for all Troy Campus facility emergencies
