Job Description

SHIFT: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the areas of Service Parts Distribution. Be a peer to other employees in Service Parts department. Candidate will be accountable for the safety, security and housekeeping within assigned areas. Supervise the department in the absence of manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize daily workload for Kitting employees
  • Prioritize workload to fulfil customer needs and high stocking levels
  • Assist with special projects
  • Provide DAX System training to Kitting workforce
  • Computer operations for specific needs (Production Orders, Transactional data, Location Info)
  • Basic project management skills
  • Have an understanding of how to trouble shoot the DAX system in area assigned.
  • Maintaining of general cleanup of warehouse facilities
  • Any other reasonable request by supervisor
Team Lead Activities:
  • Adjusting and prioritizing daily work of team to ensure that overall team goals are achieved each day.
  • Supports department goals for Kitting to support Line Fill Rate
  • Responsible for managing kitting needs for special preventative maintenance projects
  • Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
  • Identifying departmental needs and effectively communicating to Supervisor.
  • Provide training for new team members, maintaining and updating documentation of procedures and training materials as needed.
  • Reporting on departmental activities, updating key metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, preference will be given to applicants that are pursuing post High School education
  • 2-3 years warehouse experience with parts
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of DAX system, including areas of responsibility outside of Material Management Team
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Certification on all power equipment
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting 50 with or without assistance
  • Climbing up to 8 ft. with ladder
  • Extensive walking up to 6 miles / day
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
