Basic Job Description:

As part of the Miller International customer service team you will be supporting sales, logistics and accounting functions with ITW Welding Products International sales offices and customers. Processing order entry, shipments and documentation of International transactions. Coordinating details with, Miller Export warehouse, freight forwarders, Miller business units and International offices as well as providing guidance and support for International Accounting activities.

Essential Functions:

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Order entry, Export Trade compliance at order level, preparation of proper export and customs documents required for efficient movement of International shipments by air freight, courier, and truck and ocean freight.
  • Expedite and coordinate delivery requirements with Miller manufacturing teams and coordinate shipment schedules with warehouse, freight forwarders and ITW Welding sales offices.
  • Coordinate detailed communication and correspondence in a timely manner to distributor and customer inquiries, orders and general questions regarding International Sales active.

Oversight of daily, weekly and monthly International Accounting activities including but not limited to:

  • International order billing.
  • Tracking DAT shipments and DAT reporting to ITW Corporate Tax.
  • Applying warranty credits, wire transfers, checks and credit card payments.
  • Managing department expenses, preparing check and wire transfer request.
  • Preparing sales analysis reports, BU sales outlook, netting payments, WPGLA distributor statements, follow up past due accounts, Intercompany Statements of accounts, aging report, Trial balance, overdue reports.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in International business.
  • Candidate must speak fluent English and Spanish languages with ability to write, read and translate. Must have strong decision-making skills and a positive attitude and ability to build positive business relationships.
  • Proficient computer skills with through knowledge of Microsoft, Windows, Word and Excel required.
  • Candidate must possess excellent clerical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of internal and external International business and accounting transactions.
  • Perform work with a sense of urgency. Strong oral and written communication skills, solid organization skills and ability to multi task in a fast-paced customer service team environment.
