Credit/Collections Analyst - Norwood, MA

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
 
•         Responsible for the timely collection of pre-assigned customer accounts.  These efforts are facilitated by working closely with the sales, billing, service and shipping departments, as well as international branch offices.
 
•         Communicate with interested parties the status of collection efforts and outstanding issues.
 
•         Review and log incoming letters of credit.  Track their collection cycle to ensure timely settlement.
 
•         Negotiate the settlement of delinquent accounts and recommend when accounts should be sent to an outside collection agency or written off.
 
•         Assist in the development and implementation of standard practices and procedures which facilitate a desirable turnover of receivables and customer goodwill.
 
•         Assist in providing customers with invoice copies or statements
 
•         Assist in the billing function, as needed
 
•         Ad-hoc requests as necessary
 
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
 
•         Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
 
•         Pleasant telephone manner.
 
•         Good computer skills. Experience with Microsoft office products a plus.
