There is currently an opportunity for a Controls Technician to work a 24/7 rotating shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am shift). This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.


  • Support site processes in mechanical, electrical and control systems.

  • Troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of existing and new equipment systems and electronics.

  • Perform electrical wiring and perform PLC programming.

  • Analyzing and correcting communication issues.

  • Reading and understanding mechanical plans and wiring diagrams.

  • Work according to project timelines and required processes.

  • Provide support for new equipment installation.

  • Coordinating work with internal and external employees and contractors.

  • Documenting work procedures.


Job Requirements

Qualifications:


  • Two-year degree or diploma in electronics or automation course of study preferred.

  • One-year experience working with automation controls, PLC’s, vision camera systems, AC/DC drives, steppers, servos and instrumentation.

  • One-year experience performing Allen Bradley PLC programming preferred.

  • One-year experience with ultrasonic and textiles preferred.

  • Must be able to lead shift mechanics.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
